Cincsor is situated in the center of the Brasov - Sibiu - Sighisoara triangle, 2 km from the European Road that ties Brasov to Sibiu, towards Agnita. -
Train
You can also travel by train to Fagaras and then take a taxi to Cincsor or take a train to Voila, where you will be picked up by our staff.

Bread seminar
You are invited to taste our dishes prepared dearly by our chef using fresh and carefully selected ingredients! All meals will be served in our porch, the newest addition to the house. Taste the local Saxon food or simply enjoy a cup of homemade mint tea while relaxing in this spacious porch that was recently built and rejoice in the light that floods the room. The porch opens towards the back yard where you can serve meals or simply hang out with friends.
You are invited to share our passion for wines and to choose and taste from our carefully selected Romanian wine bottles! We have special food wine pairings.
A room with history, both literally and figuratively, with the name of the architect Fritz Balthes written all over it, the library was initially used as a classroom. The belief, rather pretentious for that time: school and education for all village children, generous spaces and abundant light, a friendly and supportive atmosphere that concentrates on each children’s potential, stood at the core of education and progress. With high and big windows designed to offer the students natural light but minimum outside distractions, with a view of the fortified church to point towards spirituality and all things holy, this room is equipped with a recreation space, a library and all media facilities (Internet, TV).
Learn the art and magic of baking your own traditional bread and Saxon pie, Schar, in an outside wood oven. What an experience to bake your own bread, to prepare the dough using natural ingredients, to heat up the oven, to prepare the Schar! Tell stories and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting for the bread and pie to bake! Taste the unique aroma of the Schar which is served warm with a shot of schnapps. Let us go back to traditions and customs, to the essence of rural life! Available only in the summer season!
